Sunnyside Gardens is a perennial nursery. In addition to our large and ever
expanding assortment of perennial varieties, we offer a few select garden
worthy shrubs to give bones to your garden. These include roses, lilacs,
hardy boxwood, viburnums, and weigela. There are many more. The odd annual
herb and container plant may be available depending on the whim of the
owner. A full selection of perennial herbs is always on hand, including several thymes.

We are constantly pushing the hardiness rating of many new varieties as they
often haven't been trialed in our area. We are quick to advise if there is a hardiness question.
Professional. She is a graduate of Southern Maine Technical College, with a
degree in Plant and Soil Technology. She is assisted in the gardens, by her
daughter, Joel Ellis Brown. Joel lives and gardens professionally in
Portland during the summer and does various freelance artwork during the
winter. She tends the perennial borders at Sunnyside and co-designs gardens
with her mother for select clients.

and more. We also stock English teapots and other tea accouterments. This
year TyphooT tea and ChocoloveT chocolate bars will be added to the list.
All summer long, wonderful plant combinations in the many display gardens
give you glorious ideas to take home. Come often throughout the season to
find just the right plant to fill that empty space in your own garden.

answer your questions, the plants themselves will show you where they

plants to the willing and able.
